To becoming more and more these few big players really were controlling a tremendous amount of the access in exchange for a tremendous lot of information. Now you only have, you know, it made things convenient, but you were sharing a huge amount of information often without knowing it. So by getting you to sign into something through one of these services, they can get information, etc.
