Black Hole Blocking Background Galaxies

We've taken pictures of black holes and presumably there are stars behind the black hole that we're not seeing because they're getting blocked by this black hole. I don't know if we've seen direct lensing of background stuff from a stellar mass black hole. But definitely for sure we've seen things block black holes from our view is just that the situation is more complicated for a black hole blocking our view of something else.
