The Law Decides Who Will Be Picked
The law determines who will be picked for you, and it might not be the person that you want communicating your decisions or making those decisions. A lot of the times it's based on familiar relationships or legal relationships, like your spouse or your parents. And if there's something, if there's nobody in place, sometimes it'll be the chaplain. If they can't find somebody a, it could be a a third party who's designated as the decision maker.
