Is the Chief Financial Officer a Good Person to Discipline the Banks?
You'd like to think that the people with a lot of money would play some role in disciplining the banks so that they're not engaging in reckless behavior. But you know, you sort of, these are in principle people with the time to do it. So if you have a chief financial officer, I would think that that person could have at least occasionally taken a look at Silicon Valley bank structure and realized, oh, that might not be a good place to have a lots of money that's not insured.
