What Is Butyrate Good For?

Butyrate is also an anti flamatory and anti-oxam. So those are all the mechanisms by which it improves mood. And I think there's nothing like it for a mood stabilizer. The butyrate itself hits a unique receptor that's a little different than the HDAC inhibition. It's called GPR 109A. This receptor is very important for creating immune tolerance. If you take too much, like over 40 or 50 grams, you might have some gastrointestinal effects.
