Scientists know that kin contact works, they're really not tollly sure how it works. I think we all feel better with a human touch. For the premature infant, this touch is as close as they can get to being back in the womb. Naomi's baby is one of these resilient babies. She wants them to know how resilient they can be.
Doctors can save the lives of premature infants, but the process is often painful. Luckily, a solution might be as simple as a parent’s loving touch.
