The Racism of Waffle House
In 2003, over 50 black customers sued the chain because they were denied service and subjected to racial slurs. In 2001, members of a gospel group were told to leave their seats so white patrons could sit down. The following year, Waffle House refused to serve an interracial couple. This case alone actually lists five different cities in towns in Georgia, plus one in South Carolina.
