The Problem With Cheap Cameras on Amazon

The FTC has gotten involved and enforced fines on some manufacturers, but I feel like it's not enough. The incentive for the user is they want the cheapest gear possible. Nowhere in that incentive chain is a more secured device. If Microsoft pushed a standard for how to set it up, I don't know that it would work. We're out of luck when it comes to actually securing those devices.
