How to Use Job Control to Suspend a Remote Server Connection
If you have multiple processes suspended in the same shell, each of them has a an integer job ID associated with it. So if you want to resume job number three, it would be F G space percent three. This isn't useful in the case of losing a connection to a remote server. But this is just great for fipping away and then getting right back to it super fast.
