Overclocking is a little bit trickier with modern chips, but especially modern SOC system on a chip like we have now. Different parts of the chips are running at different clock speeds anyway. Apple could choose to put only the ones that can run 10% faster in the Mac Pro and it would be even more expensive because every time they do that, they say, okay, only the very best ones go in the Macpro. It's probably not worth it. What you want from the Mac Pro, as we've said before, is twice as many cores. That is more valuable than the same number of cores, but 5% faster.
