ADHD and Executive Functions

Thomas Brown is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine. He says ADHD equals developmental impairment of brain's management system, its executive functions. What we're really talking about when we use the term executive functions is a network of networks of neural connections within the brain that help us to be able to manage what we need to do from day to day.
