The starting point of science was first came philosophers, right? People who would muse about the world and try and understand it. And then science came later as this sort of pragmatic measure,. Like testing of the musing of the extrapolation of their theories. So when a scientist extrapolates what they're actually doing is they're employing some sort of basal philosophy module within what we would now call the scientific process.
