The Chinese surveillance balloon hovering over the United States has moved to the central part of the country. The Pentagon responded to baffled questions about why the incredibly well funded US military was unable to detect or destroy the balloon by claiming that attacking it could jeopardize people on the ground in Montana. China initially denied any knowledge of a huge surveillance balloon floating through the American airspace, but then came out and claimed that it was just a weather research airship.
