The Accessible Icon Project's New Logo Portrays People With Disabilities
The Accessible Icon Project has taken aim at the standard blue and white wheelchair icon. They've created a new icon that they hope will ultimately replace the ISO standard. It's still a white figure in a wheelchair positioned in a blue field, but the head and body are tilted forward. The visible leg is also moved forward and re-angled to make it look more active.
