Golden Boy by Hilly Elkins
Golden boy was a musical adaptation of the clifford odette's play, which had been made into a film sduring william holden and barbara stanwick. Produced by hilly elkins, with music by the bi bibirdie team of charles strauss and lee adams. The cast of golden boy featured tons of talented black performers and an all white creative team. After odet's death, william gibson, author of the miracle worker, was brought in to finish writing the show.
