Is There a Legal Inbox?

Lawyer: I always thought medicine was the slowest field to evolve but apparently maybe we're the second slowest because we've actually been electronic for quite some time. EPIC is probably the most commonly used electronic health record in the United States and it does a great job of being kind of an automatic to-do list slash very complex filing cabinet. There are really strict rules around privacy when it comes to patient data which means that I never would have like a document for a patient just kind of sitting on my laptop. It all goes into a very secure system called the electronic medical record.
