Is There a Fundamental Power Struggle in Cryptocurrency?

i think there is this fundamental power struggle. It used to be that academic institutions, immediate outlets and governments had credibility. But over the last three years, we've seen laid bare like the sheer and utter incompetence of many of the institutions in our world. They're just not very good at what they do. I think that when your entire identity is attached to that, like where you went to school, where you work, the degrees you have, the credentials you have right whereyou work, it's extremely upsetting.
