Climate Policy Models Need to Get Real About People
We're going to focus on this class of models called integrated assessment models, or i a ms. They try to model how human activities interact with and also have an impact on the natural system. We call it integrate assessment models because it models a very long chain of effects. So in short, it is integrated in a sense that we couple different system from human to technology and also to the climate system. And so trying to find that right balance is so important and interesting.
