China's Image Matters a Lot
i think a china's image very much matters, and it does lead to real costs. The fact that china hasn't clearly condemned the russian invasion of ukraine a does not sit well in europe. And so i think both shared this deep commitment to make sure that these two dynamics, you know, internal weakness and hostile plots from the west, do not take hold in russia and in china respectively.
