The Dispossessed Is the First Great Utopian Novel

i wanted to spend a little bit of time about what makes it so. i was hoping maybe we could just take a step or two back and just briefly touch one the history of utopian fiction. A sir thomas more is the person who coined the term in the sixth, sixteenth century. That an eutopia is not a place, but rather a notion of the imagination. In that same talk, you argue that h g wells with his persistent writing of utopias, during the darkest days of the twentieth century, was the one who brought utopian thought into history and history making.
