The Power of Distribution Learnings in Language Models

There are various kinds of arguments against the models. But I think what these models do show us is the power of distribution learnings, that just how much can be learned from just being exposed to language and sort of picking up on subtle distribution patterns. And this allows us to figure out what else is needed in order to explain human language.
