CHAPTER

The Relationship Between God's Thoughts and Properties

Conceptualists have suggested that God's thoughts can play the role of properties. But a concrete object does not seem to be the sort of thing that is exemplifiable anymore, and particulars are not exemplifiable, but rather exemplify. As mental states, thoughts are characterized by intentionality being about things, not by things falling under them.
