The Evolution of Barakay

Barakay is a fictional language. What you might call an art slang. It's created by, I don't think this guy ever gives his real name anywhere, but he's Mr. Bernie on the ZBB. And so he has this forum thread and some likes to different sections. But what's puzzling to me is he has an E sound and then along, which is written with the letter I, by the way,. He's got E and E, but he has long I developing into developing rounding. Yeah. This going the other way to go from front and then take on rounding just seems bizarre to me.
