Pediatric Tumors - Is There an Opportunity to Generate a Personalized Vaccine?
In principle, we should be able to design a single vaccine that would treat many or most of those patients. The problem is that we would need to understand whether that single mutation actually is good at eliciting an immune response. So I don't think we know this yet, but it may be that some of the more genetically simple tumors like pediatric tumors may not be the most susceptible to a vaccination approach.
