The current wave of ai definitely not going to save us, says John Defterios. The only jobs that are left are looking combing through data sets to see whether they i contain gore and photos of abuse or like horrible things such as child abuse. These really low wage workers are being exposed to images from war zones in the process of making these tools work. It's so like when you use chat gpt the machine is genuinely popping stuff out but going into that is hundreds and hundreds of hours thousands for people doing data sifting.
