The Power of Acceptance
The power with acceptance is when I stop, when I accept things as they are, I stop multitasking with a bunch of things that are not relevant. Acceptance cuts through what's not relevant and gets to what is relevant. Being comfortable is not relevant to hitting a good golf shot. So if we are using distraction techniques, we are pushing ourselves more toward irrelevancy than relevancy. We get better at handling difficult situations and actually dealing with the task at hand when we're focused on what's actually relevant.
