Is Kant's Model of the Mind a Faculty?

Schopenhauer says the five senses give you very little about even space. He's just re hashing cantionism, except what he's using the brain and retina to do it. But isn't he re labelling what kant's a faculties were? I mean, i he kind of just really, you might as well just say he's throwing away kant's model of the mind in favor of something that is functionally close to it. It's not faculty psychology at all.
