The Future of Custom Resource Definitions in Kubernetes
Right now it's implemented as CRDs, but it is being used as a standard. So it means multiple different companies that really don't have anything to do with each other are all conforming to the same CRD. Over time, I think Kubernetes is they're really reducing the number of resources that can become cores. And I've heard a lot of in the future everything is a CRD. But certainly if they become the de facto standard then it's V1 beta one.
