The Time Critical Criteria for Thrombolysis

You can go up to 24 hours for thrombectomy in some patients, but nice give us some guidance as to what the criteria have to meet are. These patients must have an acute ischemic stroke and confirmed occlusion of a proximal anterior circulation demonstrated on CTA or MRA. They need to have a good pre-strict functional status with a modified ranking scale of less than 3 and an NIH SS score of more than 5.
