The Putaswami versus the Union of India judgment was given by the Supreme Court. It defined, as you said, privacy as a fundamental right. But did it go into anything more about what modes of privacy, what exactly was privacy supposed to protect? Or was it more at the level of dealing with broader issues of constitutionality and what the government's actions are in any particular instance? Well, the judgment is interesting because most of the previous cases before the Supreme Court, there's been a specific fact that has been in dispute.
