I just think about the ways in which time moves in this movie, and this looping back of an event that both hasn't happened yet and is happening now. For me, the role playing fits that y of what i really love about wong's movies is where you have people doing a weird thingse. And for a movie so restrained like this, is the weirdest it gets an intimate love yand tohv humor in those scenes. E, and thereis some humor. Even if the kind of main emotion is about love and yearning and desire, that emotional landscape is quite brought within those terms. I suppose that could be where some of the wrinkles i'm looking for
