Patterns Are Incredibly Important for Science

Aims to bring probability and randomness into the things I write about because it's at the heart of what has always interested me most. The speed of light enables us to work out, for instance, how far away different things were if the speed of light was always varying. In a sense, it's an element of regularity, so it might be symmetries - something that is not changed when you make a reflection of it or move it from one place to another.
