The key moment in washington's personal history and the history of this country was at the end of the revolution. When king george heard that this was washington's plan, he was quoted as saying, if he does that, he will be the greatest man in the world. For me, that's it. That's when, that lays the groundwork for everything to come, whether it's the const ution the concept of a union.
