This question has bothered me for awhile, and I finally decided to do a deep-dive by talking with one of the leading NT scholars in the world: Dr. Darrell Bock. We discuss various approaches to this challenge and his favored view. Darrell L. Bock is professor of New Testament at Dallas Theological Seminary and will give us some insight into this claim.
