How Have You Loved Us?

i've always found it interesting, here we are in the old testament. So many people think of the old testament as this god who is so harsh and judgmental. And yet he just puts his heart out on the table to his people, and they would have the audacity to say how have you loved us? Seems to me, when we're teaching this, i mean, you can't just read any of these things flat no andley no. I think it's best to read it that way rather than an alternative would be to say, whee.
