Do IBS Antibodies Increase in Patients With IBS?
A 2021 and a 2019 study did find increased antibodies in those with IBS as compared to healthy controls. Yet the treatment for the antibodies is a prokinetic which treats constipation. So it tells us that in terms of how we treat this, there's still something that we don't completely understand.
