The Effects of Black Women on Maternal Care
This has been particular to black women and also brown women. We don't talk about, you know, the effects of Latino women, Native American and indigenous population. So pretty much anyone who is non-white, we're definitely seeing increasing rates for black women. The other side of this is for babies. Black babies are twice as likely to die at birth than white babies, right? And so we're seeing it on both ends of the spectrum. We're losing birthing people, but we're also losing, we're losing our babies too.
