Is It Impossible for a Robot to Satisfy the Conditions of Friendship?
There could be an extent to which we are talking past eachoh, as well in the criticisms. Yes, i think they are. There kind maybe differences. And it's gain part of this general strategy or belief that i have,. That you can't claim that a robot can't satisfy them because it lacks some internal mental property that you think is essential for it. The other criticism that you make, which is an important one, and i didn't really do enough in the paper, is that my characterization of the conditions is a little bit vague.
