St. Mark's gospel tends to emphasize the emotional responses of Jesus in a really dramatic way, using very visceral language and things like that. There's definitely the example in John's gospel of anger when he goes into the temple and makes a whip out of cords. Another important one that comes up in the synoptic accounts is Christ's experience of temptation. He was tempted in the desert with a variety of worldly things.
