The Importance of Language

There's a critical period for at least no thoughts in the sense in which we understand the term thought. The notion thought is so vague that there's nothing to say about it. If I had never learned a language, if I'd grown up alone on an island, what would my thoughts be like? How would I think my thoughts? Probably wouldn't have any.
