I think L1's survive and thrive in 2023. I know you guys don't agree with me, so I'm going to break it down in a number of different ways. If an enormous part of our economic value ends up getting generated on and settling back to smart contract layers, I just don't think it's a good thing to have it all settle back to one layer. And ultimately, you probably want other settlement layers that can compete and drive down price. You saw this when gas fees spiked on ETH and it led through no merit other than it's just way too expensive to transact on ETH.
