Energy security and reliability have come to the fore as issues in the wake of the war. The Gulf states have had a windfall as a result of increased energy prices. We've seen a permanent diminishment of Russia as a global energy power moving forward. Sanctions are reputational risk, which will cause Western companies to pull out support.
