What Is Prophetic Speech?

Prophecy speech is not aimed at rebuking the people of because they don't pray enough, or because they're not doing enough for god. It's aimed at public structures that foster oppression and exclusion. A when people who have power are exposed and their unjust practices are exposed to the god's searching light, powerful interests retaliate - and do so fatally.
