Is the Fed Raising Interest Rates a Good Idea?
Some observers say that the Fed raising interest rates may actually cause inflation to go up. David Frum: I've heard these arguments in one form or another a lot over the last few years. He says it's really funny because he thinks the last few months have been basically definitive proof that that's wrong. Frum: The big thing I would just say is we have these tools, like we mentioned earlier, to look at financial market expectations and see if there was this reverse way of making inflation worse.
