Is There a Difference Between an Intellectual and an Anxious Child?

Parents tend to get a little nervous when their kid brings up death and starts talking about that repeatedly. Is there a way to distinguish, maybe an intellectual interest over a worry? Most problems or topics that are really worth thinking about also create some anxiety. If the anxiety seems to outweigh the curiosity or the interest in thinking it through, you want to help your kid feel a little more comfortable and safe about it.
