How Do Whales Get Salt Water?
How do whales get water into their water spouts? Blow holes are really important because that's how whales breathe. The reason why you see a spout, that kind of spray coming out of it, is because there's a lot of air that's being pushed out of it very rapidly. Different kinds of blows from different kinds of whales have different shapes and those shapes are really specific to different species.
