Is It a Translation Movement or a Literary Tradition?

In pre-Islamic and early Islamic poetry you find certain Greek technical terms mentioned. So there's on the one hand transfer of knowledge but on the other hand then there are new ideas that stem from or built on this fundamental on this basis of Greek human pathology.
