Authenticity isn't a goal, as it were. It's a series of choices, exactly. We're always growing olways, overcoming ourselves and growing other than what we are to day and what we were yesterday. So for bavoir, its our lives are are an arc of ly our past actions and our present choices, but also our intentions and goals. And so her idea of authenticity is much more future oriented.
