The first step is to be aware of our bises and reflect on them. Biases are really what drives us, unconsciously and implicitly. So if we are not aware that these are in play, it's really hard to catch ourselves. The big thing that, like my work there, maybe was just built on biases. And maybe it's not the best thing there could be. I can only recommend, for example, candeman's book, thinking fast and slow. It's one of the majore resources i gained a lot of insight about the cognitive biaces. But again, just knowing about them doesn't help.
