The Multiple Meanings of Decolonization in Education
The term decolonization is almost impossible to define in any one way, like there has to be multiple meanings because of these multiple histories. And so we see that through people attempting to in particularly in higher education curriculum and pedagogy across the globe. People are trying to resist constraint, the constraints that a monocultural or Eurocentric curriculum or pedagogical design has on them. So they're trying to embed alternative models of learning into the classroom.
